The Great Beauty

Paulo Sorrentino’s (Il Divo, The Consequences of Love) deliriously entertaining new film plays out like a modern La Dolce Vita.  Sorrentino regular Toni Servillo plays Jep Gambardella, a once acclaimed novelist-turned-columnist, through whose world-weary eyes we witness a decadence of a bankcrupt culture consuming itself.  The result is a brilliant, stunningly shot satire of life in Berlusconi’s Italy.  A limited print release targeting the core independent film audience we used a highly targeted multimedia campaign to drive frequency across our key consumer.  It opened on the highest screen average of any new film  with over £4,500 per screen.
