A Late Quartet

Starring Christopher Walken and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, A Late Quartet is a mainstream ensemble drama aimed at an older cinema going audience. This particular campaign was released simultaneously in theatres and on VOD (Video on Demand) services. Choosing to spend the majority of the budget on print and posters was a logical and obvious choice given the expected older audience, however it was also vital to target the potentially younger VOD audience therefore spent a healthy amount on online and VOD marketing. The campaign pushed the multiplatform availability for the on demand services and theatrical release. A Late Quartet went to gross over at £500K at the box office, with an attributed £25,000 from VOD revenues.
